You might be wondering how I got here, me too...kind of. What I've always known is that I love to host people and serve them food that is incredibly delicious. What I didn't know is that it would be food that helps saves lives. Food that transforms lives. Food that protects lives.
After discovering that I am gluten intolerant, the safe food journey began. Little did I know, it was only the beginning. 4 years later, my son was born and we discovered a peanut allergy at 6 months old, and a dairy and cashew allergy followed shortly after that. Let me tell you, it was a whirlwind! I was anxious to get to the other side of allergy discovery (that's the hardest part!).
Now here I am, making food my whole family loves and we're finally thriving! I have learned so much along the way, but one of the biggest things I learned is the huge need for support for parents of children with allergies. So here I am - my mission is to support parents of children with allergies in an uplifting and encouraging way.

"I can’t thank Nova enough for all the work she’s put in for me in making my business income everything I ever wanted and more!
I'm a foodie, so when I discovered I needed to cut all gluten from my diet, I was disappointed to be sure. I loved bread! Then my husband took me on a trip to San Francisco and delighted me with restaurants that served gluten free foods! I'm not exaggerating when I say I cried tears of joy over eating a gluten free pancake in a booth at Snooze. I had no idea gluten free foods could still be delicious!!
From that moment on, my mantra was, "This food is going to be the BEST someone has ever eaten - gluten free or not!" These are the best cookies you've ever had? Oh, they're gluten free! These are the best donuts you've ever had? Thanks, they're gluten free! My whole outlook changed and I was up for the challenge! So when my son was diagnosed with peanut, dairy, and cashew allergies, my outlook didn't change. I put on my oven mitts, grabbed the plant-based milk, and started baking.
